profile

 

I have been a practicing artist since I returned to the UK in 1987.  I taught a number of arts based courses at Newbury further education college during the period from 1989 to 1999, during which time I graduated from Winchester School of Art with a BA in Visual Arts. 

 

Following my degree I helped set up group of student graduates with the intention of exhibiting together and supporting each other’s practice.  This group became known as ‘remarks’ and went on to exhibit in a number of venues in the southern region. 

 

In 1997 I began exhibiting with ‘Catalyst’ an open group of women artists and scientists founded in 1995 in Portsmouth who are committed to promoting the crossover of knowledge between the arts and sciences.
